Almond Butter and Jelly Sandwich

For lunch today I made an almond butter and jelly sandwich.

I toasted Udi’s Whole Grain Bread and spread it with Barney Butter Almond Butter and Crofter’s Organic SuperFruit spread.   This jam is has no added sugar and is a mixture of cherry, red grape, acai and pomegranate.  It is very good!

And for dinner I had simple spaghetti.

Muir Glen Tomato Basil sauce topped with sauteed mushrooms, shrimp, and garlic in olive oil.    On top of Heartland gluten-free spaghetti — very good pasta and it is only $2.00 at Walmart.  However, I just read a review here that says they had a bad reaction to this pasta, and upon further investigation found that it was processed in the same facility that processes wheat products.  So beware!

And a little bit of greens along side…

Romaine, cucumber, tomato, cracked pepper and homemade Italian dressing.
